As a music native of Arizona, Rudy Garcia has been an active performer for over 30 years.  His musical roots are deep in tradition with many close and distant relatives that were and are also still actively performing.

He has performed a wide range of music genres and played a variety of instruments from bass guitar to trumpet, and now acoustic classical and steel string guitar.

​

Back-up and lead vocals came early in his career, then drifted into the background as he performed all instrumental fusion jazz and acoustic smooth jazz.  His lead vocal is now back with the launch of his new solo project featuring classic rock, pop and R&B from the 70's and 80's, along with other country and contemporary "pop" hits.

It seemed logical to title this new act "Solo" since he is performing as a soloist delivering popular (Pop and Classic Rock) music hits  (see the website Song List, Video Library and Sample Recording tabs).

He often refers to his "Solo" performing act as "The Solo Evolution Project" as it is continuously evolving with each performance.  He is constantly adding new material based on audience requests and newly released hits.  His goal is to provide music that "transcends all boundaries, warms the soul, and touches the heart".

The latest update is that he has added an all instrumental performance that re-visits all the Latin and contemporary jazz compositions that he once performed as a duo (2 acoustic guitars) named "Uno-Dos", but now he's performing as a single acoustic classical jazz guitarist.

​

So now, if you need a crowd pleasing Classic Rock, R&B, Country and Contemporary performer, "Solo" Rudy Garcia is your best bet, and if you just need some nice jazzy acoustic instrumental music, then Rudy Garcia "Solo" is still your best choice.
